Center
Franklin Pierce University is seeking
an energetic and dynamic individual to fill the role of Center
Director for our Portsmouth Center.
The Director will participate in the planning, implementation and
monitoring of all academic programs and business operations at the
center; is expected to evaluate all recruitment activities and
identify the best practices for finding the best fit students for
the center; plan and coordinate special center activities; and
manage an office of professional and administrative staff.

Director of Admissions
Franklin Pierce University, a dynamic teaching and learning
community offering a blend of traditional liberal arts,
pre-professional, teacher preparation, and master�s and doctoral
degrees seeks a Director of Admissions for the traditional
undergraduate residential program. The University had a record
enrollment of 1,705 students in the undergraduate residential
program in fall 2007, which is the result of years of steady growth
under the leadership of an entrepreneurial President.
The Director will participate in the development of a strategic
enrollment management plan and will lead the admissions portion of
the plan; is expected to evaluate all recruitment activities and
identify the best practices for finding the best fit students for
the University; and manage an Admissions office of six professional
and four administrative staff.
The qualified candidate will need a bachelor�s degree, with a
master�s preferred; and experience in admissions in a college or
university setting. Also required are the skills needed to assess
goals through statistical analysis and to use technology to produce
reports, charts, and tables needed for data informed decision

Experience Director
Franklin Pierce University has an opening for a full-time, 10-month,
exempt position as one of the campus Experience Directors. The
Experience Director is responsible for a comprehensive student
development program for a designated residential housing complex on
the Rindge Campus. As a live-in professional, the Experience
Director will develop and implement co-curricular programs for
students in that complex.
Additional responsibilities include:

Director of the Library Services

Franklin Pierce University invites applications for the position of
Director of the Library. This position reports to the Provost and
Vice President for Academic Affairs. The Director has faculty status
and supervises a staff of 3.5 librarians and 7 FTE professional and
paraprofessional staff, approximately 40 part-time student
employees, a budget of approximately $928,000, a collection of more
than 140,000 volumes and nearly 20,000 print and electronic
periodical titles. In addition to library services, this position
leads the University�s instructional technology and media and
production services. The Franklin Pierce University Library serves
students and faculty on the main campus in Rindge, NH and
coordinates library services to students enrolled in online and
offsite programs.
The Director of the Library will be responsible for providing
visionary leadership to the library, advocating for the library in
the community and larger world, supervising the delivery of library
and information literacy learning services to the community,
directing strategic planning, budgeting, staffing, staff development
and program assessment, promoting public relations and fund raising;
and fostering regional cooperation in resources sharing; networking
and collection development.
The successful candidate will have an ALA-accredited MLS in Library
Science; have demonstrated significant professional achievement
appropriate to the rank of Associate Professor or higher; and a
successful record of five years of progressively responsible library
administrative leadership in an academic setting. The successful
candidate must be comfortable working within a team-oriented
environment, eager to engage directly with students, possess the
leadership, managerial and communications skills to work with many

English - Creative Writing/Composition � Assistant

We seek an individual with primary expertise in the
writing of poetry and poetics and secondary expertise in
the writing of fiction/nonfiction. The ideal candidate
has an established national reputation; significant
publications; and demonstrated excellence in teaching
poetry at the college/university level. Candidate will

first-year general-education writing courses in a 4/4

Associate Professor of Physical Therapy
Franklin Pierce's Division of Graduate and Professional
Studies is seeking a qualified candidate for an
Associate Professor with expertise in Neurology and
Adult Treatment. For this Full-Time position, we are
seeking an individual with strong teaching and research
skills who will impart leadership, professional vision
and scholarly excellence to the program. The position
will require classroom teaching each term and active
involvement in physical therapy research.
The successful candidate will have a prominent record of
clinical education, scholarship and a minimum of a
Master�s degree with preference given to those with an
earned doctoral degree or enrolled in a doctoral

Institutional Research Analyst
The Institutional Research Analyst is responsible for
the planning and execution of institutional research
functions of the University. These responsibilities
include the collection , analysis, and reporting of
institutional data to external and internal
constituencies, such as, IPEDS, NCAA, National Student
Loan Clearing House, senior staff and the Board of
Trustees.
The candidate should hold at least a Bachelor�s degree
in an appropriate discipline and two years of
administrative experience in higher education, possesses
knowledge of higher education principles, practices, and
procedures, and have the ability to work effectively
with internal and external constituencies.
Requirements include: excellent communication skills in
a variety of media, knowledgeable of current data
collection, retrieval, and analysis techniques, and
demonstrated skill and experience with database systems
and software applications, including MS Word, Excel and
Access. Knowledge of statistical packages (SAS or SPSS)

ARIZONA - Director of
Associate Degree Nursing
Franklin Pierce University is seeking a Director to work as an
administrator for the Associate Degree Nursing and to be a part of
our exciting, on the move University, helping to establish our
planned Goodyear, AZ Program. This program is pending approval from
the Arizona Board of Nursing.
The Director will be responsible to provide leadership for the
development and implementation of a new associate degree program,
for providing leadership for the Goodyear (AZ) center of Higher
Education Nursing Program and to oversee the program�s continuing

Coordinator of Clinical Education (faculty position)
Franklin Pierce University is seeking faculty to join an experienced
Doctor of Physical Therapy faculty within the University. New
faculty will be a part of our exciting, on the move University,
helping to establish our planned Goodyear, AZ Expansion Program*.
The Program in New Hampshire is fully accredited through CAPTE.
The responsibility of the ACCE will be to provide coordinate the
clinical education program of the Physical Therapy Curriculum, which
includes developing, monitoring and refining the clinical education
component of the curriculum, facilitating quality learning
experiences for students during clinical education, evaluating
students' performance in cooperation with other faculty, in relation
to progression through the didactic and clinical components of the

Sunday day shifts.
This position performs a variety of safety, enforcement and crime
prevention tasks for the College. Basic duties include foot and

with campus safety computer records and reports, and providing crime
awareness education.
