Outfielder Taylor Kenyon earned Northeast-10 Conference Freshman of the Week honors, as she batted .313 with six RBI last week.

RINDGE, N.H. (March 28, 2005) – Franklin Pierce outfielder Taylor Kenyon (Bennington, Vt./Mt. Anthony) was named the Northeast-10 Conference softball Freshman of the Week by the Conference office on Monday for the first time of her career.

In six games last week, Kenyon hit .313 (5-16), with two doubles, six RBI and two runs scored. Her 3-for-4 performance at the plate sparked the Ravens to an 8-0 mercy rule victory over Kalamazoo College on Wednesday. She drilled a pair of doubles and a single en route to knocking in six runs and scoring two more. Kenyon also picked up hits versus Albright College on Monday and Palm Beach Atlantic University on Tuesday.

Franklin Pierce (2-10, 0-0 NE-10) will open up their Northeast-10 Conference slate with a doubleheader at Bryant University tomorrow beginning at 3:00 p.m.
