Player of the Week Honors
Billerica, Mass. Native Earns First Conference Award

RINDGE, N.H. (March 22, 2004) – Senior Michelle Derochers (Billerica, Mass./Billerica) was honored as Northeast-10 Player of the Week in softball by the Conference office this afternoon.  

            Derochers hit .450 (9-20) in a 5-2 week for the Ravens, with a team-best nine runs scored to go along with four RBI and a triple.

            She went 3-for-4 at the plate with a run scored and two RBI in Franklin Pierce’s 5-4 win over Richard Stockton.

            Against SUNY-Potsdam, Derochers was 2-3 with two runs scored in the Ravens 13-0 win and she hit 1-2 with two runs scored in a 3-1 victory over Saint Michael’s.

            Franklin Pierce (6-2-1) is scheduled to next take the field at UMass Lowell on March 31^st at 3:30 p.m.
