In the first game of the afternoon, Bentley took a 1-0 lead in the first inning on a solo homerun from Caroline Ciummei (Acton, Mass./Boxboro).

However, Bentley took the runs back in the fifth and sixth; Christen Franey (Abington, Mass./Abington) led off in the fifth inning and later stole home. The Falcons then tied the game on back-to-back home runs by Jennifer Picardo (Medfield, Mass./Medfield) and Ciummei.
