In game two, the Ravens jumped out to a 2-0 lead with a two-run second inning as freshman Michelle McConnell (Elora, Ontario/Centre Wellington) belted a two-RBI double that scored freshman Lindsey Souza (Braintree, Mass./Braintree) and sophomore Dana Wetzel (Riverdale, N.J./Pompton Lakes).

The lead was brief, however, as the Yellow Jackets posted three runs in the bottom half of the inning as Cuthbert singled then scored on an error and Lauren Rankey (Troy, N.Y./Mechanicville) drove in Casey Wall (Westport, Conn./Staples) and Nikki Matisi (Endicott, N.Y./Endicott Union) with an RBI single.

American International added an insurance run in the third as Matisi singled to score Ashley St. Germain (Springfield, Mass./HS of Science & Tech.).

Senior captain Kalene Wotton (Westminster, Mass./Oakmont) (2-1) pitched six innings and allowed one earned run on seven hits with one walk and five strikeouts for the Ravens. Matisi (2-3) threw a complete game and allowed two runs on seven hits with two walks and two strikeouts, picking up the victory for AIC.
