The
two sides played though a scoreless first half in which both teams
played rather conservatively. Things opened up in the second half with
the teams combining for 17 shots (nine for Franklin Pierce) and Hislop
broke the ice with a shot to the lower right corner at 66:52. The Ravens
quickly intercepted after Bryant kicked off and Hislop broke in for her
second unassisted tally at 67:26.
With the two goals today, Hislop has now netted 70 over her
three-year career at Franklin Pierce and totaled 176 career points. She
has also played a role in ten of the Ravens 13 goals scored so far this
season.
Freshman Jessica Neales (Swansea, Mass./Joseph Case)
registered four saves in goal for the Bulldogs.
