Minna Mustonen, Franklin Pierce (Sr, F, Helsinki,
Finland) - In a 1-0 week, the defending NCAA Division II
scoring champion recorded two goals (including one on a
penalty kick) and two assists in a 7-0 win at Stonehill.
She posted the game-winner in the 14th minute on a blast
from the top of the 18-yard-box and set up teammate Julia
Uusmalmi's goal in the 45th minute with a short pass inside
the 18.
Notes: Franklin Pierce avenged their
only defeat to a team from New England in nine years when
they beat Stonehill, 7-0, Sunday in Easton, Mass. The Ravens'
2-1 loss to Stonehill last year snapped a 106-game win streak
against teams from New England. That was FPC's only loss
in region since 1991. The Ravens have won 17-straight matches
since last year's loss

have marked the first time the Ravens lost twice to the
same team in one season since the program began in 1986. FP

its opponents, 29-4 in that span.
