Beats Saint Michael's, 76-63
Robinson records her tenth double-double
to lead Ravens
RINDGE, N.H. (January
8, 2002) - Franklin Pierce University
jumped out to a 6-0
lead and never trailed in posting a 76-63 victory over Saint
Michael's College in Northeast-10 Conference action at the FP
Fieldhouse tonight.
Jennifer Webster
(Braintree, Mass./Braintree) sparked the early rally
with a three-point jumper 53-seconds after tip-off and capped
the run with another bucket from long range. The Ravens
continued to dominate in the first half to take a 37-26
lead at intermission.
The Purple Knights
attempted to close the gap four minutes into the second
half, but never got closer than seven points the rest of
the game. The Ravens shut down the Purple Knights after
an 11-4 run with 2:42 left in regulation to take a 17-point
lead, their biggest in the game.
Amina Robinson
(Hyde Park, Mass./Jeremiah Burke) led the charge
with 16 points and 10 rebounds with her NE-10 leading tenth
double-double of the season. Webster netted 16 points to
go along with six rebounds and three assists. Emily
Liskow (Strafford, N.H./Coe-Brown) totaled 14 points,
three assists and four steals.
Saint Michael's Liz
LeFebvre led all scorers with 20 points and hauled in 11
rebounds. Jes Hambley followed with 11 points.

at 1:30 p.m. Saint Michael's (3-8, 0-8 NE-10) hosts Southern
