second-chance points and Franklin Pierce hit just 36.9-percent (24-65)
of its shots from the field. The Ravens hit just 23.8% (5-21) from
three-point range, including 3-12 (25%) in the second half, and
converted a mere 8-18 (44.4%) from the free-throw line for the night. Junior

Ravens carried the early momentum in the contest, taking a nine-point
(29-20) lead with 8:13 to play in the first half after a 12-3 run.
Stelmack sparked the run with a conventional three-point play before
Lang capped the rally with a basket from long-distance. The
Setters answered by closing the stanza with a 19-3 run to take a
seven-point lead at the break (39-32). Andrews scored six points
during the rally, while Dlabola canned a big three during that
stretch. Franklin
Pierce closed to within five (46-41) 4:28 into the second half after a
Lidke layup, but Pace reeled off a 14-4 run to extend its advantage to
15 points (60-45) with 8:01 to play and the Setters would not let the
Ravens within nine points the rest of the way. Franklin Pierce (6-3, 3-2 NE-10) returns to action on Thursday when it hosts Le Moyne College in a Northeast-10 battle at 5:30 p.m. Pace (7-5, 4-3 NE-10) hosts the College of Saint Rose on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. |
