2007-08: Northeast-10 Conference All-Academic Second Team honoree. Participated in 14 singles matches, all but one at the second flight, and also split eight matches between first and second doubles.

2006-07: Took the court for nine singles matches and eight doubles contests in her freshman season. Posted a 1-8 singles record playing every spot except first singles and also went 1-7 in doubles play. Picked up two wins in a victory over American International (4/10), taking a 6-4, 6-2 decision at third singles after winning, 8-3, at second doubles.

Before Franklin Pierce: A 2006 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School. Participated in tennis and swimming for four years each, while also running track for one season.

Personal: Born June 27, 1988 in Pottsville, Pa. Daughter of William and Gail Zahora of West Penn, Pa. Has one sister, Alanna (22). Alanna was a four-year letterwinner on the University of New Haven women's basketball team. Majoring in accounting at Franklin Pierce.
