The Franklin Pierce volleyball team won their second straight match
tonight, defeating host Rivier College 3-0 (30-28, 30-24, 30-24) in
non-conference competition. With the win, the Ravens improve their
record to 5-7 overall.
Sophomore outside hitter Christina
Collett (Tombstone, Ariz./Tombstone) sparked Franklin Pierce
with nine kills, three aces and two digs, while sophomore Jade
Cuevas (Leverett, Mass./Amherst Regional) chipped in with ten
digs. Freshman setter Bria Williams (Chino Valley, Ariz./Chino
Valley) led the Ravens offense with 22 assists, and sophomore
outside hitter Ashley Milan (Bellingham, Mass./Bellingham)
came off the bench to contribute four kills, an ace and a dig. Franklin Pierce 3, Rivier 0
