RINDGE, N.H. (Sept. 9, 2003) – The Franklin Pierce University
volleyball team fell 3-0 to Bryant College in Northeast-10 volleyball action at the Franklin Pierce Field house this evening.

Leading the attack for the Bulldogs, sophomore Michelle Muniz (Guayanbo, P.R./Maristas) posted 12 kills, ten digs and five service aces while freshman Jess Cegarra (Danville, N.H./Timberlane) tallied 11 kills. Senior Britta Beckman (Omaha, Neb./Skutt Catholic) registered 35 assists and eight service aces for Bryant.

Franklin Pierce freshman Christina Collett (Tombstone, Ariz,/Tombstone) led the Ravens with 18 kills and seven digs and senior Bethany Findley (Clinton, Conn./Morgan School) registered 32 assists. 

Franklin Pierce (3-3, 1-1 NE-10) returns to the court on Thursday when it travels to Teikyo Post University for a match at 6:30 p.m. Bryant (4-2, 2-0 NE-10) next faces Queens College at Bentley. 

Franklin Pierce (1-0, 1-0 NE-10) returns to action on Saturday, when it travels to the University of Bridgeport Invitational for matches against Southern New Hampshire University at 5 p.m. and University of Bridgeport at 7 p.m.
