Johnson serves a season-high 14 aces in the win

NASHUA, N.H. (Oct. 3, 2002) - The Franklin Pierce University
volleyball team recorded a 3-0 win over non-conference opponents, Rivier College, in volleyball action this evening.

Senior Mandy Johnson (Orange, Mass./Maher Regional) led the Ravens with a season-high 14 service aces, nine of which she tallied in game one. Johnson also chipped in four kills and six digs in the win. Senior Heidi Jensen (S. Glens Falls, N.Y./S. Glens Falls) tallied a match-high six kills while classmate Catrina Cuevas (Aurora, Colo./J.I. O'Neill (N.Y.)) totaled a team-high nine assists and 12 digs.

Rivier's Lindsey Heenan recorded six kills and 11 digs, while Kristen Hoffman dished 11 assists.

Franklin Pierce (7-6, 2-4 NE-10) returns to the court on Saturday when it travels to Lowell, Mass. for a matchup with LeMoyne College.
