(Oct. 16, 2001) - The Franklin Pierce University
volleyball
team fell to Bentley College by a score of 3-0 in Northeast-10
Conference action this evening.
Bentley's Lauren
Washington led the Falcons as she put down 14 kills,
nine digs, served two aces and posted a .444 kill percentage.
Sophomore setter Alyssa Carter also contributed nine
digs and a pair of aces in the win. Erin Cavanaugh and
Danielle LeBaron both tallied eight blocks for the Falcons.
FP
was led offensively
by junior Mandy Johnson (Orange, Mass./Maher Regional),
who had 13 kills, six digs, and served three aces. Classmate
Catrina Cuevas (Puyallup, Wash./J.J. O'Neill
N.Y.) chipped in 12 digs, eight assists, and
six kills for the Ravens.

NE-10) returns to the court on Friday, when they face
Saint Michael's College for an NE-10 matchup in the FP
Field House at 7 p.m. Bentley (20-6, 8-0 NE-10)
returns to action on Tuesday, Oct. 22 when they host
Southern New Hampshire at 7:30 p.m.
