Notches 3-0 Win Over Teikyo Post

WATERBURY, CONN. (Nov. 1, 2001) - The Franklin Pierce University
volleyball team snapped a five game losing streak with a 3-0 non-conference win over Teikyo Post this evening.

FPC's Mandy Johnson (Orange, Mass./Maher Regional) was outstanding for the Ravens, as she recorded ten kills, served eight aces, and posted seven blocks. Sophomore Bethany Findley (Clinton, Conn./Morgan School) dished 20 assists in the win.

Junior Catrina Cuevas (Puyallup, Wash./J.J. O'Neill N.Y.) tallied five kills, six assists, one block and three aces for the Ravens, while classmate Heidi Jensen (S. Glens Falls, N.Y./S. Glens Falls) registered eight kills.

The Ravens (9-13, 4-9 NE-10) return to action on Saturday when they host Saint Rose in a Northeast-10 matchup on Senior Day at noon.
