2005-06: Participated in the 41st
Head of the Charles, filling the bow position for the women's
varsity eight (WV8) that finished 27th out of 46 teams with a time of
19:45.98. Participated in the Head of the Schuylkill at the bow
position for the WV8, rowing to a seventh place finish out of 46
teams with a final time of 14:54.38. At Clarke University, rowed
for the WV8 in the six seat as the team finished first with a
time of 7:51.50. Aided the WV8 in the four seat at Southern New
Hampshire as the Ravens posted a first place finish with a time
of 7:24.7. At Dowling College with Mercyhurst, rowed in the five
seat of the WV8, placing second of three teams with a time of 7:19.8.
BEFORE FRANKLIN PIERCE: 2003
graduate of Housatonic High School. Ran for the varsity cross
country team in high school in 2000.
PERSONAL: Born November 28,
1985, in Sharon, Conn. Daughter of Lynn and Richard Curtis of
Falls Village, Conn.
Has one brother, Daniel (18). Father, Richard
was on the United States National Crew team in the 1970's. He
was also the captain of the Boston University crew team.
Member of the Choral Union and Jazz Ensemble. Majoring in music. |
