All-America candidate. Honed his skills over the summer with the Cape Cod Crusaders of the PDL along with teammates James Thorpe and Raphael Guimaraes.

2007: Northeast-10 Defensive Player of the Year. NSCAA/adidas First-Team All-America, All-New England Region and All-Northeast-10 selection. One of only two Ravens to start in all 23 matches this season. Was a key part of a defensive unit that led the Northeast-10 in shutouts (12) and goals against average (0.65/match). Finished fourth on the team with three goals and added an assist for seven points. Scored his first goal of the season, the match-winner, in a 1-0 win over UMass Lowell (9/8). Also scored in conference wins over Southern N.H. (9/26) and Saint Anselm (10/6). Assisted on David Clifton's match-winner in NCAA New England Regional final victory over UMass Lowell (11/10). His defensive efforts landed him on the NCAA Tournament All-Tournament team.

Key part of a defensive unit which led all of Division II with a 0.44 goals against average and 15 shutouts. Led all Raven defenders and finished third on the team overall with five goals on five shots on target. Shared the team lead with three match-winning strikes. Netted two goals, both match-winning tallies, in the first two games of the season against Bridgeport (8/25) and No. 11 Dominican (8/27). Earned NE-10 Player of the Week honors (8/28) for his efforts. Scored the match-winner in 2-0 victory over Assumption (9/13). Also bagged goals in wins over Saint Anselm (10/7) and No. 12 Southern Connecticut State (10/17).

Netted two goals, including the match-winner in NE-10 regular season title-clinching 4-0 victory over No. 13 Southern Connecticut State (10/27). Earned All-Tournament team honors at NCAA New England Regional.

Also played for Dominica’s U-23 team during Olympic Qualifying. Attended Dominica State College for two years. 2000 graduate of Dominica Grammar School.

Personal: Born August, 26, 1983, in Roseau, Dominica. Son of Denis and Anne Ettienne of Queens, N.Y. Has brother, Bahir (21), and sister, Bishana (14). Majoring in marketing with a minor in management. Supports Manchester United. Lists Rio Ferdinand and Ronaldinho are favorite athletes. Aspires a career in professional soccer. Swapped jerseys with FC Barcelona star Rafael Marquez following an international match with Mexico.
