Despite playing with just nine men, the Ravens forged forward and pulled within a goal when grad student Christopher Joyce (Jarrow, England) was sent in on a breakaway by sophomore Dino Patramanis (Worcester, Mass./Quinsigamond CC) in the 76th minute. Franklin Pierce was unable to muster a shot the rest of the way.
