Colchester, VT -Three Saint
Michael's players scored a hat trick to

dominated the game from start to finish, first scoring

quarter to give the Purple Knights a 3-0 lead after
the first 15 minutes.
It was more of the same in
the second quarter, with Saint Michael's scoring
four more goals. The Ravens managed to get on the
board before halftime when Jimmy Ward
(Lynn, MA) scored on an assist by Ken Beaudette
(Cheshire, CT) at the 7:09 mark.
SMC's Kevin Duffy
(Yonkers, N.Y.) answered back with two goals in
the second to give the Purple Knights a 7-1 lead
at the half.
In the second half it was
all Saint Michael's as Duffy led things off with
his third goal of the game. The Purple Knights went
on a furious scoring run getting 10 goals in the
final 30 minutes for the convincing win. SMC outshot
Franklin Pierce 50-9 and won 15 of 16 face offs

the game. Saint Michael's Jim Crozier (Fargo,
N.D.) had four saves for the victory, while Andy
