Earns All-Conference Honors at Northeast-10 Conference Championships
Ravens finish ninth with a two day total
of 671
LOWELL, MASS.
(Sept. 30, 2001) - The FP
men's golf team placed ninth
with a two day score of 671 at the Northeast-10 Conference
Championships this weekend. Southern New Hampshire University
captured the school's first ever conference golf title with
the help of junior Matt Arvanitis, who set a Northeast-10
Conference Golf Championship record with a two day total
of 137.
FPC's Aaron
Nachoul (Pittsfield, Mass./Pittsfield) earned All-Conference
honors, as he finished fifth among all golfers with his
combined score of 148. Chris DeGeorge (Southbury,
Conn./Pomperaug) shot
his best round of the season, as he shot a two day total
of 169. Keith Medros (Salem, Mass./Bishop Fenwick)
also had a solid showing, as he shot a 97 and an 87 for
a total of 184.
The men's golf team
returns to action on Friday, Oct. 5, when they compete at
the Saint Anselm Autumn Collegiate Invitational at Stonehill
Country Club.
