Munch
scored 18 of his game-high 21 points after halftime, including eight
in overtime before fouling out, in the Ravens 67-63 victory at
Southern Connecticut State University on Saturday. He buried 6-of-11
from three-point range, including 5-8 after the intermission, to go
with a team-best seven rebounds and a blocked shot. Munch chipped in
five points, two rebounds and two assists at Saint Anselm College on
Tuesday.
Munch is averaging 11.5 points (3rd on team) and 2.2
rebounds in 20.9 minutes per game in his first collegiate season. He
is shooting a team-best 79.4-percent (27-34) from the free-throw line
and is second with 25 three-pointers, hitting at 29.1% (25-86) from
beyond the arc.
Munch has led the Ravens in scoring three times this season,
including a team season-high total 31-point night in just his second
collegiate outing, an 83-57 victory over CUNY-Baruch.
Franklin Pierce (8-6, 5-4 NE-10) is back in action tonight when it hosts the College of Saint Rose at 7:30 p.m. After a road game at Pace University on Thursday (7:30 p.m.), the Ravens are back home to host Le Moyne College on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
