Munch
reached double-figures in scoring 15 times this season, leading
Franklin Pierce in scoring on eight occasions. He was the Ravens top
rebounder four times, including January 24, when he grabbed a
season-high nine boards (three offensive) in a win at Saint
Michael’s College. Munch established his season-best for scoring in
just his second collegiate game, netting a team season-high 31 points
in the Ravens win over CUNY-Baruch.
Munch netted 22 points in a tough three-point loss to eventual
NE-10 regular season champions Bentley College on February 7. He led
the Ravens back from a halftime deficit at Southern Connecticut State
University (1/14) with 18 of his team-high 21 points after the
intermission, including eight points in overtime, as he buried 6-of-11
three-pointers (5-8 after the break).
Franklin Pierce (13-15, 10-12 NE-10) earned a postseason berth for the 29th-straight year with the ninth seed in the Northeast-10 Tournament. The Ravens posted an 8-2 record in the month of January, winning five-straight for the first time since midway through the 1999-2000 season.
