2007-08: Went 1-7 in singles action
moving between the third, fourth, fifth and sixth flights, and also
went 1-5 at all three doubles slots. Picked up a pair of wins in the
season finale versus Saint Anselm (4/6), earning an 8-4
first-doubles victory and a 4-6, 7-6, 13-11 comeback win at fourth
singles.
2006-07: Appeared in
all 10 matches in his junior season, playing in four different
singles positions while holding down the second doubles spot. Went
2-8 in doubles action, winning the first two matches of the year
against Saint Anselm (3/14) and Southern New Hampshire (3/19).
2005-06: Appeared in 10 doubles and
five singles matches. Went 1-5 playing at fifth and sixth singles,
including a tiebreaker win at sixth singles against American
International (4/12). Won four of his 10 doubles matches on the
year, playing all but one at second doubles. Also won in doubles,
8-4, against AIC for his first career dual win.
2004-05: Did not play.
Before Franklin Pierce: Attended Asnuntuck Community College
from 2003 to 2004 after graduating from Enfield (Conn.) High School in 2003.
Played hockey for the New England Junior Coyotes.
Personal: Born July 2, 1985, in Denville, N.J. Son of Andrew
and Carol Strayer of Murfreesboro, Tenn. Has one sister, Jen (18). Majoring in mass
communications at Franklin Pierce. Also plays for the Franklin
Pierce men's ice hockey team.
