C.W. Post Slips by Franklin Pierce 1-0 

RINDGE, N.H. (Oct. 11, 2003) – The Franklin Pierce University
field hockey team fell 1-0 to C.W. Post in non-conference action this afternoon.

            Senior Trisha Moran (Rockville Centre, N.Y./Sacred Heart) scored the only goal of the game, unassisted, 20:55 into the first.

 Sophomore goalkeeper Brandi Guertin (Bellingham, Mass./Bellingham) made two saves for the Ravens. Senior Christy Gardner (Auburn, Maine/Auburn) made seven saves to earn the win for the Pioneers.

Franklin Pierce (8-7, 7-6 NE-10) returns to action next Saturday when it hosts American International in its final home game of the 2003 season at 2 p.m.
