21, 2002) - The Franklin Pierce University Shippensburg's Sarah Paine and Carli Border each scored a pair of goals to lead the Lady Raiders. Erica Joline tallied a goal and an assist in the win. FPC's only marker was scored by Chrystean Page (Turner, Maine/Leavitt), who netted her first goal of the season on a penalty stroke at the 22:18 mark of the second half. Shippensburg opened up the scoring immediately in the first half, scoring three unanswered goals in the first 11 minutes of the game. Paine netted the first goal at the 29:25 mark of the first half, while Joline recorded the second goal just five minutes later. The Lady Raiders closed out the first half with three more goals to put the Ravens away for good. Franklin Pierce netminder, Kasey McClements (Ashland, Mass./Ashland), made five saves in the first 11 minutes of play before giving way to freshman Brandi Guertin (Bellingham, Mass./Bellingham), who made a career-high 14 saves in 59 minutes in net. Shippensburg's Nora Luchansky recorded five saves in 35 minutes in net, while Samantha Moll and Michelle Mangle combined for four saves in the final 34 minutes of the game.
