Kuckyt began the scoring in the fourth minute, taking a pass from Kelly Frantz (Southbury, Conn./Pomperaug) and beating freshman netminder Tevis Hannington (Canton, Mass./Notre Dame Academy). Carr recorded her first goal of the game, the eventual game-winner, exactly six minutes later at the 9:57 mark, also with the assist credited to Frantz.
Both players scored their second goals of the game later in the evening, Kuchyt’s coming in the 30th minute and Carr’s in the 40th minute.
Hannington made two saves for the Ravens on the night, while Bryant’s Kundayi Mawema (Hare, Zimbabwe/Dominican Convent) made one save before ceding the net to teammate Kasey Kortz (Louisville, Ky./St. Francis) for the final 14:53 of play.
Franklin Pierce (1-13, 1-10 NE-10) will return to action on Wednesday evening, when the Ravens welcome Saint Michael’s to Sodexho Field for a 6 p.m. Northeast-10 match. Bryant (10-5, 10-2 NE-10) will take on Southern Connecticut State on Wednesday night.
